A remarkable decision came from Emmett Shear, who has been the CEO of live streaming platform Twitch for over a decade. According to the decision, Twitch CEO Shear is leaving his post.
As Tech Crunch reports, Shear announced in a blog post that he’s ready to leave the company he’s been involved with for 16 years. “Twitch feels like a kid I raised most of the time,” Shear said. “While I’ll always want to be there for Twitch when it needs me, at 16 I feel like Twitch is ready to get out of the house and venture out alone.” he added.

After the decision, Twitch President Dan Clancy will assume the role of CEO at the company, while Shear will remain as a consultant.
